Apollo Realty
Category: Web Design
The Apollo Realty site primarily contains static
text it but does have 3 features that use dynamic
content. The client was given the ability to add, edit and delete
Press Releases that appear in the Press Center. They
also have the ability to have up to 3 featured Press
Releases appear in the right hand column throughout
the site.
The site also has a dynamic rental listing section
that is broken up into 2 parts. The first part is property
to rent, which offers the user a search by size and
price range. The second part lists all property for
sale. The client also has the ability to download the
rental listings in a tab delimited text file format
for importation into their local database.

Hasco Components International Corp.

The Hasco site is a basic site which contains
Hasco's product catalog as well as forms for ordering
and requesting quotes. The site uses Cascading Style
Sheets and also features ''E-mail this Page'' and
''Print Preview'' functionality. Recently, the Hasco Components Web site has been modified
to meet XHTML compliancy and has been optimized for
search engines.

As with the Apollo Realty site, this site is
mainly static text but it does contain 2 features
which use dynamic
content. The client was given the ability to add, edit

Center. The second feature, which goes hand in hand with the
Press Center, is the ability to have up to 3 featured

the site. The 3 featured Press Releases appear with
the title, which links to the full Press Release, and
a short introduction.

Lavelle School for the Blind

The design for the Lavelle School for the Blind Web
site was based on pre-existing print materials
that
the
client
provided Optimum, Inc.
The site is a basic, XHTML
compliant Web site. It includes an English Text-only
version for screen readers and the graphical version
can be viewed in either English or Spanish. Aside from
the
text-only
version,
the
Lavelle School Web site was created to include
several additional features for handicap

Raffit Ribbons

The Raffit Ribbons site contains the full catalog for
Raffit Ribbons and also has a shopping cart. Transactions
are processed manually and the site contains a secure
administration for viewing orders. The site makes use

Sunlight Database Conversion
Category: Database Development
This project consisted of converting a DOS-based database
to Microsoft Access. After converting the database,
a browser-based administration was created
that reflected the original DOS application that was used to maintain
the database. The browser-based system consists of adding, editing
and deleting Contractors, Jobs and Daily Job Costs.
The client can also view the database entries by Contractor,
Job Number, Year, Full Job and Summary. |

Tane Around the World Reward Poster

For the Around the World Reward poster, we were asked
to design the poster using the Around the World
Reward page on the Tane Web site as reference.
The dimensions of the poster were 20'' x 30'' and consisted of most of
